Comparing and Contrasting the two Nations
These countries are almost completely different.  Different climate, different democracy system, and different ways to survive.  In Egypt, they anticipate the annual flooding of the Nile to keep their crops alive; in the Liberian bush (jungle,) they hunt for their food.  Egypt is gigantic, having Africa’s second largest population; Liberia has a much smaller population, consisting of mostly natives and American-Liberians.  Liberia’s history stayed almost the same until the American-Liberians came; Ancient Egypt’s history goes back 5,000 years, and went through many changes.  Liberia became an independent republic in the 1800s; Egypt wasn’t declared independent until 1953.  Both Liberia and Egypt border bodies of water, although Liberia borders the Atlantic Ocean, and Egypt borders the Mediterranean Sea.
Although there are all these important differences, there are also some things the two nations have in common.  In both nations, English is a common second language; and, they are both on the same continent.  In addition, both countries have a democratic government system; although it is different.  Liberia is based off of America’s system, while Egypt has both a prime minister and a president that share the power over the country.
Christian, Islamic, and Muslim religions are quite popular in Egypt; although Christianity is common in Liberia, Islam and Muslim religions aren’t very widespread throughout Liberia; it’s mostly native culture there.

As you can see from my comparisons, these two countries are almost completely different, although there are a few similarities between the two.
